Twenty-one market teams had no shared record.
A global telecommunications group ran public affairs across twenty-one markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Each market team managed its own stakeholder relationships, policy engagement and local intelligence.
The group team could not see one complete record of who had been engaged or where relationship gaps remained. Local issue intelligence was also difficult to connect with priorities at group level.
A phased rollout created a common data model.
TSC introduced the system in three phases, beginning with five priority markets and then extending it to 16 more. Genie held more than 30,000 stakeholder records, country and issue dashboards, and a shared workflow for recording engagement.
Client teams logged more than 1,000 interactions into the same environment. Each record added to a group-wide history while preserving the market context in which the engagement took place.
Local intelligence rolled up to a group view.
A weekly group digest and eight geography-specific newsletters carried relevant developments to central and local teams. In Brussels, event tracking and influence maps helped the team identify policy events, understand connections around priority issues and find stakeholders beyond its existing network.
The group team gained a consolidated view of engagement activity across the footprint. Country teams retained intelligence calibrated to their own markets. The same stakeholder graph and engagement history could support policy monitoring, event preparation and senior briefing.
A shared cross-market record kept stakeholders, issues, engagement and recurring intelligence connected. It preserved local context across 21 market teams while giving the group a common view.
